  • Dramatic Light workshop

    Jackson's : Drawing Workshop : Dramatic Light 4TH JULY 2026

    £95

Wendy would like to invite you to share in the magic of drawing light in the landscape. The course will focus on the incandescent light effects cast by trees and countryside features such as gates and fences. Your results will embrace both the tangible and the ethereal.

From the softest-edged shadows to the brightest light filtering through branches, Wendy will demonstrate how to create light effects and develop the darker areas that will encourage the light to glow. Building up layers and tone through pencil and graphite, you can explore the myriad of marks and textures that make up a landscape. You will be encouraged and supported every step of the way. You will be tackling dramatically sunlit landscape scenes, working from a selection of photographs supplied by the tutor.
